Steve Goodman (also known as Kode9) is a musician, artist, and author. He founded the music labels Hyperdub and Flatlines, produced five albums and several compilations, and wrote the book Sonic Warfare (MIT Press, 2010). He has co-edited Unsound:Undead (2019) and Sonic Faction (2024), both published by Urbanomic Press. His sound installations have been presented in major venues including Tate Modern and the Barbican in London.
