Oblaka
Ladislav Zensor (Exhausted Modern, Oblaka) is a Czech musician and sound designer, a resident at Prague’s infamous Ankali club and founder of the decommissioned label Endless Illusion. Following on years experimenting as a DJ, music producer, and street artist, he turned full-on music in 2007. As Exhausted Modern, he released several albums, garnering attention abroad with an uncompromising dystopian sound built on analog technology and an industrial sonic palette mixing references that span 80s Detroit to late Dutch West coast. All that in an aptly up-to-date garb. Oblaka, his newest moniker, explores the influence of contemporary hybrid club music and meta-genre experimentation. Breaks fragments, delicate aural design, and dismal cinematic atmospheres yield a sound unfettered by convention.
