Since the beginning of his musical career in 2012, English artist Evian Christ has struck quite an unlikely balance: he’s able to shift seamlessly between mainstream and the ultra-underground. Born Joshua Leary in a small English town, he has worked across an eclectic and idiosyncratic range of projects; including production work for Kanye West, Travis Scott, Cashmere Cat, Tinashe or Danny Brown, strobe-loaded festival shows, esoteric art installations, EP’s and singles, mixtapes and his cult club night Trance Party. In anticipation of his forthcoming debut LP on the legendary Warp Records, he will perform one of his trademark eclectic, rousing, frantic, strobe-laden DJ sets.
