Rie Nakajima is a Japanese artist whose works are often composed in direct response to unique architectural spaces. In her practice, she utilises a combination of kinetic devices and found small objects, creating intricate, percussive pieces. Previously, she has collaborated with venues like Tate Modern, Café OTO or Hara Museum in Tokyo, and performed alongside sound artists like David Toop, David Cunningham, Keiko Yamamoto and others.

Rie Nakajima will perform at the Slovak National Gallery after her performance got postponed during the 2021 edition.
