Composer and sound artist based in Kyiv will perform a set for solo modular synthesizer, an instrument he has mastered over the past two decades of sound practice. His last few full-length albums have all been released on experimental label Injazero Records, lastly the critically acclaimed Madrigals (Contemporary Album of the Month in The Guardian) which combined modular synthesis with historical instrumentation to “transporting results”. At the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Heinali streamed concerts from a bomb shelter in an effort to raise funds for the Ukrainian army and to support humanitarian efforts. Big recommendation for fans of anything between Biosphere, Floating Points and Caterina Barbieri. Modular ambient of the highest caliber.
