“Strasty” is a performative reportage based on field notes collected during the last months in the Carpathian mountains. Since February 24th, Lucia Nimcová and David Petráš have been documenting the war away from the frontline, where people fight through songs, prayers, and humor. While the flow of information is focused mainly on the battle zone, sharing personal stories and knowledge of the people is now more urgent than ever.

Lucia Nimcová is an award-winning photographer and artist, living and working in Addis Ababa and Humenné. David Petráš is a sound artist based in Den Haag with an interest in the acoustic environment of border areas and peripheries of cities.
